The first several shows are under our belts and I finally feel as we our "on the way". I'm not sure where yet, but things are moving. Record is due out shortly, and shows are getting booked. Hands down, having a band ain't easy when you're going all out and taking the game seriously. Sure its fun, but I can't have fun unless I'm doing my best and my best has yet to be seen. Right now, I feel as if my life and the lessons learned has all led up to this point. Marketing skills, sound engineering school, divorce, addictions, Christianity, the streets, old bands, every concert I've been too, and punk rock parties I sponsored at young age. I mean everything I have experienced in life has helped me create this band project. Feeling 100% alive is awesome! We are still moving forward. I want to book a little tour, I want many big stages, I want many house party gigs, we are working on the next E.P., and so many bands we want to play with. Which brings me to my next thought. Atlanta is very much a who you know rock market these days. The more bands, promoters, and talent buyers you know the better off you are. I call it the Kool Kids Club. I'm for sure not taking away from any band's talents. Most I've heard are at least okay to very good, to totally awesome. Even good bands seem to be promoters and putting their own shows together, Leaving some very good bands with no stages, but having awesome house parties. Very good bands booked in big venues with low turnouts. Well known touring bands hitting venues on a week day night only to play "private shows". So, in short bands must be willing to go all out to get to where they want to be, no matter what that may be. And all out is different for each act. Here's a bit of footage from our last gig. Enjoy!!!
